Why use a professional photographer to capture your art?
Yes, you can use a prosumer DSLR or a good point-and-shoot camera on a tripod to capture images of your art for use online, but what if you want to use those images to make a Giclée print of your artwork? Or what about that moment when you wish you had a high-res image of a piece you sold, but you’ve lost track of the buyer, or you need the image printed right away?
There are dozens of reasons why you should have a high-resolution, digital image file of your artwork, but perhaps the biggest reason is just that it’s something rare and special that you created, and your work deserves that kind of attention.
